Our tour takes in Istanbul, Gallipoli, Canakkale, Troy, Pergamum, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Perge, Antalya, Kinya, Cappadocia and Ankara. Marveling at the most important landmarks of Istanbul including the stunning Ottoman mosques, Byzantine churches and catacombs, the columns of Hellenistic temples and the remains of massive medieval city walls, paying homage to the Anzac legend at Gallipoli, visiting the famous Trojan horse in Troy, strolling the Roman ruins at Ephesus, exploring the white lime cascades of Pamukkale, admiring the ancient city of Perge and Konya, indulging in the Mediterranean atmosphere in Antalya, exploring the surreal lunar like landscape in Cappadocia and witnessing the various archaeological sites and the pleasing mix of Ottoman architecture, modern skyscrapers, domed mosques, minarets and the resplendent castle in Ankara, you are on our Glories of Turkey tour.

Day 01, Wed: AUSTRALIA – ISTANBUL
Depart Australia on Singapore Airlines in the afternoon.
 
Day 02, Thu: ISTANBUL ARRIVAL  
Arrival in Istanbul the morning. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel. You are free for the day.
 
Day 03, Fri: ISTANBUL (B)
Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment.

Day 04, Sat: GALLIPOLI – DARDANELLES – CANAKKALE (B.D)
Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair Lone pine cemetery and Gabate War Museum then across the Dardanelles to Canakkale for overnight. 
 
Day 05, Sun: TROY – PERGAMUM – KUSADASI (B.D)
Visit Troy with its famous wooden horse, tour Pergamum and continue on to Kusadasi for overnight.

Day 06, Mon: EPHESUS & ST. MARY’S HOUSE – KUSADASI (B.D)
Tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary’s cottage. Afternoon Optional: tour of Sardis or Sirince.

Day 07, Tue: KUSADASI – PAMUKKALE (B.D)
Drive through fertile valleys to Pamukkale (white lime cascades) visit Hierapolis and enjoy the thermal pools of our hotel.

Day 08, Wed: PAMUKKALE – PERGE – ANTALYA (B.D)
Morning drive to Antalya, arrival at mid-noon, pay a visit to the ancient city of Perge and enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the Mediterranean coast.

Day 09, Thu: ANTALYA: OPTIONAL TOUR OF PHASELIS OR YACHT CRUISE (B.D)
Today is a free day with choices of optional tours of Phaselis, a coastal ancient city or a lazy yacht cruise along turquoise cost of the Mediterranean.

Day 10, Fri: ANTALYA – ASPENDOS – KONYA (B.D)
After breakfast, depart for Konya. En-route visit the famous theatre in Aspendos. Visit Mevlana Mausoleum and Karatay Koran School, then overnight in Konya. Tonight Optional: Whirling Dervishes performance. 

Day 11, Sat: KONYA – CAPPADOCIA (B.D)
Morning departure for Cappadocia. On the way, visit 13th century Agzikarahan caravansary the land of Fairy Chimneys. We pay a visit to the famous underground city of Kaymaklı. Before we check in our hotel, we will taste Cappadocian wine in a cave winery. Enjoy a local dinner in a restaurant and stay overnight in Cappadocia.
 
Day 12, Sun: CAPPADOCIA (B.D)
Early Morning Optional: Balloon Tour. Experience floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves with the sunrise of Cappadocia. After breakfast, visit Goreme, Avanos, Pasabagi, Red Valley, and have a brief regional pottery workshop in a cave.

Day 13, Mon: CAPPADOCIA – ANKARA (B.D)
Morning departure for Ankara, afternoon tour of the Ataturk Mausoleum and Anatolian Civilizations Museum.

Day 14, Tue: ANKARA – ISTANBUL (B.D)
After breakfast drive to Istanbul. Afternoon Optional: half day Bosphorus Cruise, including last minute shopping in the Spice Market. Have a farewell dinner tonight.

Day 15, Wed: ISTANBUL – AUSTRALIA (B)
You are at leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Day 16, Thu: AUSTRALIA
Arrive in Australia in the afternoon. Your unforgettable Turkey tour ends.
